Position: Development Manager

Salary Range: $55,000-$70,000
Location: Washington D.C. area preferred (remote work available)
At Issue One we’re focused on the core civic issue of our time — solving the root cause of the gridlock crippling Washington and degrading our democracy. Founded in 2013, we are a nonpartisan, nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to political reform that strengthens our democracy and returns government to the American people. We’re seeking a talented, entrepreneurial, and eager Development Manager who can lead all donor communications, manage our mid-level ($1k to $10k) donor portfolio, and oversee our year-end fundraising campaign. The ideal candidate will partner with and provide support to the CEO and Chief Development Officer in managing some major donor relationships. Working closely with the Senior Development Associate, the Manager will identify prospects and consult on event planning.
The selected candidate must have excellent writing and relationship management skills. They must also thrive in a flexible environment with a small team, and be driven to achieve ambitious revenue goals. Skills and talent will be prioritized over experience and ample opportunity for professional growth will be offered.
